Chief CookIt’s been just over a year since the Community Mobilization Gateway HUB has been in operation in North Bay.

North Bay Police Chief Paul Cook (pictured) says they have helped residents with almost 200 incidents in that time and the Program Manager Brent Kalinowski deserves a lot of recognition for his leadership. The Gateway HUB is all about detection and prevention before someone ends up in the system.

Meantime, he adds domestic related incidents are a huge part of what the Gateway HUB deals with. He says they average between three and four calls per day.

Cook says through campaigns such as One Pledge they are getting the message out to victims that help is available.
