Final phase of restructuring underway at Nipissing University

The third and final phase of deficit restructuring is underway at Nipissing University.

Communications Officer Bob Pipe says there aren’t any numbers at this point, but the cuts involve support staff.

Meantime, he says the previous restructuring phases have resulted in about $4.5-million in savings.

Nipissing has been dealing with an 11.8 million dollar deficit.
