Healthy lifestyle the focus as Partici-Patrick 2015 kicks off

Partici-Patrick 2015 has officially been launched.

The kick-off event was held on Wednesday at John XXIII-Corpus Christi Catholic Elementary School.

Josée Charland is part of the Patrick4Life committee, and she says it’s important to include younger students in this event.

There was singing, dancing, drumming and more to kick it all off.

Partici-Patrick encourages students to maintain a healthy active lifestyle over the next ten weeks, concluding with the Day of Champions event in June.

Kealy Ducharme is a student with the Youth 4 Youth leaders. She says Partici-Patrick also involves students at the high school level.

The Day of Champions event is where students will run the final 2.2K of their 42.2K marathon.
