City HallA property owner along Peninsula Road is hoping to redesign the end of the road.

City Council looked at an application which would see the turn around at the end of the road pushed further away from the residence.

This would allow more development for their property on Trout Lake. Deputy Mayor Sheldon Forgette says there has been concerns raised by neighbours over this proposal, but Forgette says those concerns have no value.

He says there is nothing wrong with the proposal and there are numerous benefits including; more tax revenue, bringing the neighbourhood more esthetic appeal and increasing the health of the lake.

Council will hold a vote on Monday to approve or deny the application.
