Summer In The Park logoSummer in the Park Chair John Strang thinks they have a killer lineup this year, but told a Chamber of Commerce meeting Thursday night that the event is in jeopardy if it’s not successful this year.

Strang says the committee has addressed concerns raised last year about pricing and the types of music booked.

He told Chamber directors there is no reason for the community not to get behind the event.

Strang says it’s now up to the committee to market the event, and for the public to support it.

The event lost $45,000 last year and has promised to repay the city $15,000 per year to cover the deficit.

This years announcement about wristband pricing and headliners will be made at a city council meeting April 27th.
