The first and second period was tense as both the North Bay Battalion and the Barrie Colts traded goals last night in their series opener. However, Barrie scored the only goal in the third cementing their game 1 victory with a score of 3-2.  Ryan Kujawinski and Nick Moutrey both scored for the Battalion with Moutrey getting his first playoff goal on the power play and Kujawinski getting his third shorthanded goal.

And now for the first time in this year’s playoffs, the North Bay Battalion are behind in a series.
