Home ice advantage seems to be paying off for the North Bay Battalion, so far.

The Troops used a raucous crowd of 3743 fans to propel them to a 4-2 win over the Barrie Colts Tuesday night.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says they kept the Colts off their game, limiting them to just 15 shots.

The Battalion took a 2-1 series lead with their game three win. Butler says netminder Jake Smith was really strong between the pipes making 13 saves.

Butler adds his team played hard for a full 60 minutes.

The Troops tied the game in the first on a Nick Moutrey Power Play goal. Ray Huether and Brenden Miller found the back of the net in the second, while Ryan Kujawinski added his fourth of the playoffs in the third.
