The Battalion were cruising along and leading 3-1 in the third before the Barrie Colts scored twice to tie the game and force overtime.

Then at 3:49 of the second overtime, Ryan Kujawinski (pictured) and Nick Moutrey combined for the winning goal and a commanding series lead.

Mike Amadio and Marcus McIvor also scored for North Bay who outshot the visitors 49-19.

Coach Stan Butler says last years experience of playing 4 rounds really came through as they dealt with a lot of adversity.

Butler says the series isn’t over just yet, with game 5 on Saturday in Barrie.

He says the Colts kept battling after falling behind and their not going to lie down for the Troops on Saturday.
