Boil water advisory issued for Port Loring

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has issued a boil water advisory for all residents of Port Loring who receive water through the village’s drinking water system.

This is because of routine maintenance at the Port Loring drinking water system building.

Any water consumed should be first brought to a rolling boil and allowed to boil for a full minute – otherwise water is safe for adults to use for bathing purposes.
