Police (north bay)City Police say a 35 year old North Bay man, Michael Patrick Armstrong is facing several charges. Police say between February and October of last year a male who was working at call centre at the time accessed the internal databases of one of one of the clients to make unauthorized orders of cell phones and made changes to accounts which were unauthorized.  Police say the changes included giving credits, providing upgrades and reversing billing charges.

Police say fictitious accounts were created and several cell phones were delivered to his residence and advertisements were made on a free on line classified web site and then items were sold.

.Police say he has been charged with fraud over 5 thousand dollars, theft of telecommunications over 5 thousand dollars, falsifaction of books and documents, possession of property obtained by crime, trafficking in property obtained by crime and possession for the purpose of trafficking in property obtained by crime.

And A 29 year old City man has been charged with assault.  Police say on Thursday night, a fight happened on Cassels Street. Dennis Wapachee-Desjarlais has been charged.  The victim suffered non life threatening injuries.

As well, North Bay Police have released the name of the person charged following a confrontation with a skateboarder.  Police say the male is 43 year old Gregory Paul Houle. Police say they unintentionally omitted the fact that the accused was held in custody for a bail hearingin their original release  and it is their policy to release names of those charged with assault  if the accused is held in custody.
