The North East Community Care Access Centre is looking for those volunteers who go above and beyond in their work. Nominations are being taken for the second annual Heroes in the Home Caregiver recognition Awards.

The North East CCAC says it could be a family member, friend, or neighbour who give their time and themselves to provide meals, houskeeping, transportation, banking or simply conversation.

There were 18 caregivers recognized in North Bay at last years event.
