Canadian Blood Services is asking the public to donate blood to honor the memory of a North Bay Police Officer.

Murray Hague served with the North Bay Police for 23 years, and passed away in April after a battle with heart issues and leukemia.

His daughter Lisa Patry says donated blood is what kept her father going over the last year of his life.

Patry she’s hoping people will attend the clinics today and tomorrow at the Clarion.

There is a clinic today (Wednesday) starting at 4pm, with two more tomorrow (Thursday) at 11:30am and at 4pm.
