The Zoo Niteclub
Officials say The Zoo Niteclub is now closed and will reopen with a new concept as “North Bay’s Event Centre” in the fall.

North Bay no longer has a “Zoo”.

The Zoo Niteclub has “retired” as officials say on their Facebook page.

They’ve closed to renovate into a new concept and will reopen November 1st as North Bay’s event centre, ready to host social and corporate catering events.

Details are expected next month.

Meantime, Construction on Cecil’s Brewhouse is wrapping up and it means they’ll be brewing five styles of craft beer right on the premises, at the corner of Main and Wyld.

Owner John Lechlitner says in just a few weeks they’ll be pouring their own beer.

He says they hope to eventually see bottles going out the door too.

He says, “We’re hoping the government will make the changes they’ve indicated they will, that would allow us to be able to sell packaged product for retail. But, at this point it’s only to be consumed in Cecil’s or available when we cater special events.”
