Looking for your favourite tourism spots

If you have a favourite fishing hole, festival or outdoor winter activity in the northeast, the tourism group Northeastern Ontario wants to hear about it.

They’ve posted an online survey on their website.

Submissions are being accepted until September 7th, with a chance at winning a $250 gas card.

Acting Marketing and Communications Coordinator Sandy Siren says they’re drumming up interest some of the regions favourite attractions.

She says once the survey is over, they’ll use the results for story ideas on their blog posts and it will help guide them in deciding what they actively market to the world next year.

Some local “fishing holes” include Lake Nipissing and the Mattawa River, the festivals and events list includes Summer In the Park and Mattawa Voyageur Days and the hiking trails section of the survey includes Duchesnay Falls and the Eau Claire Gorge.
