Bouchard medal

Former North Bay Y Titan Dominique Bouchard (pictured above with fellow Canadian Hilary Caldwell in a Team Canada tweet after Wednesday’s 200m final) has advanced to the final of the 100 metre backstroke at the Pan Am Games.

At 1:00.44 she had the second fastest time in the heats this morning at the Toronto Aquatics venue.

Bouchard is seeded second in the final which goes just after 7 o’clock tonight.

She won silver in the 200 metre backstroke on Wednesday.

Bouchard had a time of 2:09:74, just 1.52 seconds behind fellow Canadian Hilary Caldwell, who won gold.
