The camp began Wednesday at Memorial Gardens. The Battalion defenseman says he’s spent the summer doing a lot of off-ice workouts, while slowing starting to get the skates back on. He adds the last two years, the Troops have gone deep into the post-season and that experience should help them again this year.

He says “I know all the guys returning take away from those experiences and hopefully we can turn it into something this year.”

Players are in town this week for intrasquad games, which the public can watch starting Thursday at 4pm at the Gardens.

There are other games Friday and Saturday and then a pre season game on Sunday in Sudbury.
