Several Canadore and Nipissing teams in action this weekend

The men’s basketball team and both volleyball teams at Canadore College, along with the men’s and women’s hockey and volleyball teams at Nipissing University and Lakers cross country are all in action this weekend.

In OUA hockey, both the Nipissing men and women have a couple home games this weekend.

The women host Western tomorrow night (Friday) then Windsor on Saturday.

The men play Guelph tomorrow then Western on Saturday.

In men’s volleyball tomorrow night, the Lakers travel to Hamilton to play McMaster then Waterloo on Saturday.

In women’s volleyball, Nipissing is home to Ottawa on Saturday.

That’s also when the Lakers Cross Country team is in Waterloo.

In OCAA volleyball, both of Canadore‘s teams entertain Loyalist on Saturday and Fleming on Sunday.

Last weekend, the women won 3-1 over Trent, while the men lost 3-0.

Meantime, in men’s basketball, Canadore scored a come-from-behind 67-61 win over Georgian last weekend and has a couple games this weekend.

The Panthers are home to Seneca tomorrow night (Friday) then Durham College on Saturday afternoon.

Georgian, Seneca, and Durham were the top three teams in the East division last year.
