A 16 year old West Ferris student has set new Ontario and Canadian age class and weight class records in bench press and deadlift.

The Provincial Sub-Junior and Junior Powerlifting finals were held over the weekend in Hamilton.

Riley Bullett of the local Valhalla powerlifting team had an impressive outing.

He won silver in the sub-junior 59 kilo category, setting records with 95 kilos in bench press and 165 kilos in deadlift.
