north-bay-and-district-humane-societyWhile a North Bay Animal Care Review Board continues to hear a case involving 71 dogs being removed from a Trout Creek property the Executive Director of the North Bay and District Humane Society has made a statement

Daryl Vaillancourt says the dogs involved in the Ashworth investigation have been relocated to an undisclosed location to ensure the safety of the animals and the staff.

He says there have been aggressive individuals appearing on their property and they’re attempting to disrupt the care and operation of the shelter  and undermine the society’s credibility

He says North Bay Police attended the Humane Society and were shown every animal in their care.

On October 31st, three people in Trout Creek were charged with animal cruelty.

Vaillancourt says the animals are in the best condition since coming in to their care.
