ski hillThe future of Laurentian Ski Hill looks bright for this season and beyond should added funding come through from their member municipalities.

That’s the word from the Chair of the Conservation Authority Dave Mendicino.

He says over the summer they developed a realistic business plan and one issue is a need for 65-thousand dollars a year for capital expenses from their 10 member municipalities.

He says, “if the 65,000 is not forthcoming from the municipalities then we would seriously have to look at the future of Laurentian Ski Hill.”

Mendicino points out it’s an ask, not a levy and they have had some good responses from the municipalities.

He also says everything is a go for this season.
