Two people charged following execution of a search warrant

Two people in the Almaguin Highlands area are facing charges following the execution of a search warrant by OPP officers. 

This happened after a traffic stop check in Burks Falls on Tuesday. 

40 year old Jason McDonald of Burks Falls is facing several charges including possession of firearm, weapon or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession for the purpose of trafficking in Cocaine, possession of Cocaine and possession of Marijuana under 30 grams.

Meantime, a 39 year old Perry Township woman Lisa Cecy was also charged with possession of Marijuana under 30 Grams. 

Police seized cocaine, marijuana, and weapons.

Police say the total value of the drugs seized is Three Thousand Dollars.
