Police (North Bay)A 40 year old city woman has been charged with fraud over $5,000.

The charge was laid after police say there were over $60,000 in overpaid benefits paid through the Ontario Works Program, that the woman wasn’t entitled to receive.

Police say she is accused of failing to report additional income she had been receiving and of filing false information on monthly income reporting statements.

Police say the overpayments occurred between May 2010 and June 2015.
