Voodoos season over

In the NOJHL playoffs,  there won’t be a game 7 for the Powassan Voodoos.

Kirkland Lake advances with a 4-1 win last night (Tuesday), winning the series 4 games to 2.

Kyle Moore had the lone Powassan goal. Powassan had a 40 win season, only losing 10 games in regulation along with three overtime losses.

They also played to one tie during the regular season.

The Voodoos were ranked nationally throughout the season, including top spot for a few weeks last fall after winning 14 straight games to start the season.
