Vic FedeliNipissing MPP Vic Fedeli says the province is planning on selling 250 LCBO locations in Ontario including two in North Bay on Algonquin and Worthington.

He says it is strictly a cash grab.

Fedeli says the government hasn’t indicated how many jobs will be impacted.

Finance Minister Charles Sousa is denying the claim and the LCBO says it has no intention to sell any of the 700 stores it operates.

Meantime, Fedeli attended the Ontario PC convention on the weekend.

The first one for leader Patrick Brown.

Fedeli says it was great convention for Brown as the party continues to widen its reach.

He is also criticizing the cap and trade system being brought in by the province.

He sees it as a tax grab while his party’s approach to climate change is to make any changes revenue neutral.
