Dance 1Two world-renowned choreographers are in town today holding a workshop for dance students from Chippewa and Widdifield Secondary Schools.

Amy Wright, who is one of Canada’s most in demand choreographers, says she’s hoping the students walk away with a renewed passion and energy for dance and possibly think about becoming a choreographer.

Wright adds dance is something that everyone loves and it’s an easy way to communicate emotion.

Stephanie Graham is an award-winning director/choreographer and she says they want the students to learn something different.

She says it’s always a good idea for students to expand their dance knowledge and portfolio.

Graham says dance expresses joy better than anything else and to be able to find that is a special gift.
