The North Bay Lynx U13 Girls qualified for the Huronia District Soccer League Championships this past weekend.

They finished the Frank Sobil Spring Classic Girls tournament with a 3-1-0 record, earning silver.

During the first game of the tournament, the Lynx fell 2-0 to the Bradford Eagles Saturday morning, but game back with a 2-1 win over the Mooredale Club. The day finished with another win, this time 3-1 against Darlington Rush.

Sunday saw them earn a spot in the championship by beating the Leaside East Toronto 1-0.

The final game was a rematch of the opener for the Lynx as they faced off against the undefeated Bradford Eagles. The Eagles remained undefeated, winning the game 6-0

The Lynx will now travel to Oshawa for their first game on May 14th.

The game will be held at the Steve Omischl Sports Complex against Barrie at 12:15pm.
