A couple local players in action at the RBC Cup

Powassan’s Lucas Brown scored in Trenton’s 3-1 win over Carleton Place at the RBC Cup.

North Bay’s Colton Point stopped 38 shots in the loss for Carleton Place.

It was the opening game of the National Junior A Championship for the Canadians while the Goldon Hawks are now 2-0 after a 3-2 win over Brooks on Saturday.

Carleton Place plays again tonight (Monday) against host Lloydminster.
