Report of a bear spotted along the North Bay Waterfront

An advisory from North Bay Police after a large black bear was spotted in the area of the North Bay Waterfront earlier this morning (Thursday).

The bear was not aggressive at the time, but residents are reminded to exercise extreme caution if the animal is observed and not to approach it.

The bear was last seen heading down the waterfront toward St Joseph’s Motherhouse on Main St West.
