The city will be building two accessible parking spaces and a barrier free walkway over the next couple of months.

The work will take place at the entrance to the North Bay Aquatic Centre.

The project starts on Monday and the city hopes to have it finished by the beginning of September.

In a release, the work will also include the construction of interlocking block planters and a barrier free paving stone walkway.

Accessible parking during the construction period will be near the north entrance of the gardens parking lot.
