Part-time college support staff in North Bay to vote next week

Details have emerged on when part-time support staff at Canadore College will be voting on whether to join the Ontario Public Service Employee Union.

The Labour Relations Board says voting in North Bay goes next Thursday, June 23rd while in Parry Sound the session is on June 27th.

Part-time support staff at College Boreal in Sturgeon Falls will also be voting next Thursday.

The vote applies to all part-time support staff who worked for a college during the 2015-16 academic year, as well as those who had an “employment relationship” with a college on May 31, 2016.
