OPP Ask You To Have A Safe Graduation Celebration

North Bay Cluster OPP are congratulating local grads and while it’s a time to celebrate, police say it’s also a time to think about safe celebrations.

Officers will be monitoring “pit and bush parties” to prevent unruly celebrations that have the potential for violence, mischief and risk of injury or death.

Police say expect strict enforcement for any underage drinking, trespassing, property damage, drinking and driving, drug offences and anything else that puts people or property at risk.

Tips include having a designated driver, staying the night, calling a cab or someone else who is sober.
