A couple of police agencies report complaints from the public regarding a couple of traffic issues.

North Bay Police say they’re getting reports of vehicles not stopping for school buses.

Police say motorists must stop for a school bus in both directions when the buses upper red lights are flashing.

Fines can range from 400 to 2000 Dollars for a first offense plus 6 demerit points to 1000 to 4000 Dollars, six demerit points and possible jail time for additional offenses.

Meantime, Powassan OPP are getting reports of vehicles speeding through Main Street.

During the construction period, vehicles are taking a detour through Main Street and police say the speeding vehicles are making it dangerous for both other vehicles and pedestrians.
