The name of the male has not been released to protect the identity of the victim.

City Police are investigating a break and enter. Police say someone removed a canoe from a residence on Gorman Street between Wednesday and Thursday of last week. Police say the canoe was then used to transport several items including two outboard motors, gas cans and canoe paddles that were stolen from a shed on another property nearby. The canoe and paddles have been found.

An advisory about a car wrap advertising job scam. Eden Beverage and Coffee Company is advertising to pay vehicle owners 300 Dollars a week to add car wrap advertising to their personal vehicles. Two residents told city police they responded to either a text from the fraudsters or directly and both were asked to deposit a cheque in their personal accounts.

One was for 3000 and the other 5000.

They were advised to keep 300 for the first weeks pay.

And then they were asked to deposit the rest into the fraudsters account.

It turns out both cheques were fraudulent.
