Quest for the Voyageur returns

For the 5th straight year the Quest for the Voyageur will be on the line during Mattawa Voyageur Days Weekend.

This year there will be 13 bouts at the Thai Boxing event at the Mike Rodden Arena.

Spokesperson Corey Jackson says there are two co main events on Saturday:  Mattawa’s Justin Condie against Todd Elvrum of Timmins and North Bay’s Josh Beaton against Jeff Brown of Peterborough in the 175 pound class.

He says the event continues to gain prominence.

Tickets are 30 dollars in advance and 35 at the door.

Children 10 and under get in free.

The event begins at 2 pm.
