a 48 year old city man is facing several charges including three counts of possessing a stolen credit/debit card and 12 counts of using a stolen credit/debit card.

Police say from September 21st to 23rd a male was in possession of stolen debit and credit cards belonging to a city resident.

The resident reported that her wallet has gone missing after someone entered her vehicle on Bain Drive.

The cards were used at checkouts at a dozen different businesses to purchase several items valued at $1,480.

The items included prepaid Visa cards, gift cards, lottery tickets, food items, cigarettes, clothing and alcohol.

Meantime, a 26 year old city man has been charged with possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking after the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit investigated.

Police say the arrest was made yesterday on Algonquin Avenue.

Police say they seized 28 Grams of Cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,500.
