A 23 year old city man has been charged after a child luring investigation.

It’s alleged a female under the age of 16 was contacted earlier this month by an unknown man, who found her profile on social media.

Police say the victim reported the online communication to authorities and that the two never met in person.

The man is charge with one count of invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age and one count of luring a person under 16.

 

 

Two men from Brampton are facing drug charges after a traffic stop and search of a Massey Drive residence.

They each face one count of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

8 grams of crack cocaine and 8 grams of power cocaine were seized along with over $5,000 in cash.

The approximate street value for the cocaine seized within the residence is $2,950.

 

Meantime, city police are asking for the public’s help with a theft investigation.

Sometime overnight between October 11th and 12th, a red 2012 Kawasaki KLX 250 dual sport motorcycle from the driveway of a Lisgar Street residence.
