A 26 year old Scarborough man is facing several charges after an incident.

Police say officers patrolling in Burks Falls last week noticed a vehicle turning onto Highway 520 at a high rate of speed.

Police say they stopped the vehicle and observed Marihuana inside and later Cocaine.

The driver was charged with possession of both.

Also, a Sundridge man has been charged with possession of a firearm.

The charge against the 40 year old male was laid after police were called by the Ministry of Natural Resources to assist regarding a male who was contravening previous charges.
