A Christmas tradition is coming back to Downtown North Bay again this year.

In fact, November 25th will mark the 28th annual Old Fashioned Christmas Walk. DIA Executive Director Jeff Serran says they have plenty of events on the go that night, starting with the Christmas Tree lighting, which will include a tree topper this year.

There’s North Bay Hydro Bucket rides, horse and buggy rides, Snow Jam outside Cheapskates and much more.

Serran says with less than a month until the event, they’re looking for musical groups, church groups and others to sing carols and perform Christmas Music.

They also need volunteers for set up and tear down, to provide security, traffic & barricade control, horse & wagon attendants, give out refreshments and more.

Of note, students can use the volunteer hours towards their graduation requirements.
