A couple of separate disturbance calls early Sunday have led to charges.

A 30 year old North Bay man is charged with assault with a weapon, mischief and breach in one incident.

It’s alleged a confrontation between two men on Fraser Street around 2 am Sunday led to a person striking another with a brick.

Police say the victim was able to block the strike and did not need medical attention.

They also say after an arrest was made a wall-mounted phone at police headquarters was damaged.

Meantime, a 22 year old North Bay man is facing an assault causing bodily harm charge after police were called to McKeown Avenue early Sunday morning.

Police say a confrontation between two men between 1:30 and 2:30 in the morning, resulted in one man being taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
