What day is garbage day in North Bay?

There’s an app for that.

Yesterday, the city announced the Recycle Coach app.

It provides information on garbage, recycling and other waste management services.

The chair of engineering and works Councillor Tanya Vrebosch says it’s a new way to connect with residents on a number of issues including the landfill hours, hazardous waste depot items like used batteries and garbage collection days.

Vrebosch says the app has a way that you can set up personalized reminders for collection programs.

She says you can download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
