The first public meeting involving the accommodations review of six North Bay schools goes tonight (Wednesday).

A staff report is recommending the six schools close and two new ones be built.

The schools include E.T. Carmichael, E.W. Norman, W.J. Fricker, Chippewa, West Ferris and Widdifield.

Tonight’s meeting goes at 6:30 pm at Widdifield.

Pre-registration was required for presenters.

That deadline was Monday.

However, another public meeting will be held in May where pre-registration will not be required.
