St Joseph-Scollard Hall won the NOSSA “AAA” girls volleyball title on the weekend.

The Bears went undefeated and beat Sudbury’s Lasalle 3-0 in the final.

They advance to OFSAA next week in Barrie.

Plenty of medals for North Bay’s Elite Alpine Ski Cross at the O-Cup Series provincial championship on the weekend.

In fact, they had the most wins in the province.

Austin McLaren-Stewart (U12 Men’s) and Cameron Gray (Open Men’s) both won gold.

Colton Eggert (U16 Men’s) won silver while Keegan S. (U12 Men’s), Trevor Smith (Open Men’s) and Huntsville’s Andy Bulloch (U14 Men’s) won bronze.

Several athletes also won medals as season points leaders.

In U12 Men’s, Ben Dufrense won gold while Austin McLaren-Stewart grabbed silver.

Andy Bulloch (Huntsville) won gold in U14 Men’s.

In U14 Women’s, Leah Dufrense won gold while Cheyenne Boissonneault won bronze.

Colton Eggert won silver in U16 Men’s.

In Open Men’s, Cameron Gray won gold while Trevor Smith captured bronze.

Lexi Ransom (Sudbury) won gold in Open Women’s.
