The North Bay Battalion are back pm home ice tonight after playing 5 straight games on the road.

They entertain Barrie at Memorial Gardens.

The Troops are 9th in the Eastern Conference, but just two points out of 7th.

Coach Stan Butler says if they win six of their remaining nine games it should mean they’ll be in the playoffs. But, he says getting that done will be a challenge.

Catch tonight’s game on Country 600 CKAT starting at 655.

Meantime, defenceman Cam Dineen was on the ice at practice yesterday.

However, Butler says it’ll be the playoffs before he’s back in the line up.

Dineen is out with a knee injury while fellow defenseman Riley Bruce is done for the season.

He has an operation on his shoulder next week.
