The Great North Midget League final is going the distance.

The Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves scored a 3-2 overtime win over the North Bay AAA Trappers last night to even the series at two wins apiece.

Joe Whittet and Bailey Chenier scored for North Bay.

The Trappers outshot the Wolves 51-29.

North Bay hosts the fifth and deciding game in the series tonight at Memorial Gardens.

Game time is 7:30 PM.

The Trappers last won the league championship in 2001.

 

In the NOJHL playoffs, the Powassan Voodoos have a commanding 3-0 series lead on the Gold Miners after a 5-1 win in Kirkland Lake last night.

Tyson Gilmour had two goals for Powassan with singles from Tyler Gervais-Rolfe, Brett Hahkala and Shane Beaulieu.

Game four is tomorrow night in Kirkland Lake.
