The North Bay Battalion are ready for this morning’s OHL Priority Selection.

The Troops have the 3rd overall pick.

North Bay has 16 picks in the 15 round draft.

Head coach and director of hockey operations Stan Butler has said their first round selection will be a forward.

Since moving to North Bay, the Troops first round picks have been Brett McKenzie (2013), Zach Poirier (2014), Brady Lyle 2015) and Adam McMaster (2016).

 

On the ice, the North Bay Atom AA Trappers are in Vaughan for the OHF championship.

They lost twice on Friday, 4-2 to Milton and 6-0 to North Toronto.

North Bay plays 0-2 London (10 am) and 1-1 Vaughan (4 pm) today.

Four of the five teams advance to the semi’s tomorrow morning with the final that afternoon.
