A health fair is taking place in the front lobby of Canadore’s College Drive campus.

School of Sport and Recreation students in Professor Michelle Cundari’s Health and Wellness class will be sharing their insights for adopting a healthy and active lifestyle.

There’s displays on the importance of stress management and coping mechanisms, physical literacy, sleep, the effects of eating disorders, chewing tobacco and the benefits of pet therapy and healthy eating.

“Although the assignment suggested issues affecting students, the truth is most of us face, or have encountered these same things,” said Cundari. “The students have worked hard, and have come up with some clever interactive presentations to help others come to the same conclusions.”

The sixth annual fair goes from 1:30 pm to 4 pm.
