Hundreds of spectators along with world renowned artists, models and the north’s finest licensed stylists will be at the 5th Annual Hair Competition and Show on Sunday at the Best Western.

The day-long event is being put on by the Modern College of Hairstyling and Esthetics.

There are various competitions for junior and senior college students, a licensed stylist category plus a demonstration from the headline artists, who include:

Rodica Hristu – North American Artistic Director, Global Master, Colour Zoom Master 206-2017. Rodica has been the key colorist in many launches such as Goldwell Mexico, Elumen Canada and Goldwell Styling for Canada and a solid presence in most GLOBAL COLOR ZOOM shows around the world.

Jennifer Vermeer – a master colourist with 18 years in the industry In addition she is a Goldwell Creative Team member and technical associate. She travels Canada exclusively for Goldwell and educates others stylists on the ins and outs of Goldwell hair colour and styling products To date Jennifer has designed several successful creative colour classes for Goldwell and will continue to dream up more. She is a colour correction specialist and creative hair cutter with a passion for new trends while still relishing classic sophisticated looks.

Tammie Axworthy – North American Artistic team member and KMS Trainer. She is a salon owner in Brantford Ontario, and is the creator of our Progressive-Upstyling Trends program.

Michel Moreau- North American Hair Stylist for the Artistic Team KMS California. He is also the official hair stylist to the Montreal Alouettes Cheerleaders as well as the owner of Tchop coiffure. His love for hair styling allowed him to travel the four corners of the world Michel perfected his art form in Paris and was recruited by KMS California in 2005. He is the official Hairstylist for the Montreal Alouettes Cheerleaders as well as the owner of Tchop Coiffure in Montreal.coiffure ar 2001, he perfected his art form in Paris. Recruited by KMS California he became an artistic team member in 2005. He is also the official hair stylist to the Montreal Alouettes Cheerleaders as well as the owner of Tchop coiffure. His love for hair styling allowed him to travel the four corners of the world. He is also the official hair stylist to the Montreal Alouettes Cheerleaders as well as the owner of Tchop coiffure.
