CUPE Local 2049 is reporting they’re members will be back on the job at the Children’s Aid Society on Monday.

This after the society’s executive director signed the return-to-work protocol provided by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and agreed to enter into binding arbitration.

The union says strong solidarity and enormous political pressure resulted in the 11th-hour decision.

The workers were locked out December 23rd.
