It wasn’t the start the Powassan Voodoos wanted at the Dudley Hewitt Cup in Trenton.

They fell 5-1 to the host team in their first game Tuesday night.

Parker Bowman scored Powassan’s lone goal.

The Voodoos were outshot 35-26.

Next up, Powassan takes on Dryden Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 pm.

Dryden won their opener 5-4 in overtime over Georgetown.
