North Bay’s Rhane Daly Stevens has once again qualified for the World Karate and Kickboxing Commission World Championship this November in Orlando, Florida.

This after he won two silver medals at the Canadian Nationals this past weekend in Ottawa, in the point sparring and continuous sparing divisions.

In April, the Grade 10 Odyssée student won two gold at the provincial event.

Daly Stevens has qualified for the World Championship seven times.

Along with an opportunity to face international competition, the six-day event also includes seminars and the gives athletes the chance to see different styles and techniques.

Officials say Daly Stevens continues to train hard and looks forward to representing Canada at the World Championship in November.
